Description

Building SDF and Mesh Cards require material properties (2 sided and blend mode) applied on Static Mesh to be known at Static Mesh build time. If not, it may leads to rendering artifacts:

Reflections of object may be wrong when used material is a 2 sided material:

I suspect it may also have some issues with reflections on translucent surfaces.

Note that SDF/Mesh Cards should also be recomputed on material attachment (if blend mode change) changes or on 2 sided mode changes.

Steps to Reproduce
  • Enable Lumen
  • Import a mesh
  • Ensure this mesh is visible in a reflection (but ensure to not have the reflected part of the mesh visible in the viewport to avoid screen space reflections)
  • Change material on the mesh and change 2 sided material option
