Description

Reported from multiple users.

NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPU users are reporting BSODs when attempting to launch Twinmotion with the latest drivers installed. The crashes occur on the 576.02 driver version from April 16th, 2025. Users also report the 576.26 hotfix drivers are also affected and will experience BSOD crashes

Users have reported rolling back to previous drivers has resolved the problems.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites: Use an NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPU and install the 576.02 drivers.

Attempt to Launch Twinmotion 2025.1.1

Result: Computer will encounter a BSOD

Workaround
Rollback to the previous drivers (version 572.83 or older). If the driver was updated through the NVIDIA app, use the Reinstall option for the previously installed drivers, otherwise uninstall the current drivers and perform a clean install of the previous drivers.

If you are on a GPU that cannot use older drivers, use Twinmotion 2024.1.2, or use Twinmotion 2025.1.1 in DirectX 11 mode (DirectX 11 disables features like raytracing and HDRIs). To enable DirectX 11:
-Open the Epic Games Launcher
-Go to the Library page
-Locate your Twinmotion installation
-Select the ellipses (three dots icon) for More Options
-Select Manage
-Enable the toggle for Launch Options and enter -d3d11 in the text field
