Description

Reported in SF [Link Removed]

When exporting 360 videos with precipitation, there may be a noticeable darkening effect in the exported render that fades in and out. This effect is not present in the same videos without precipitation.

The effect seems to be at least partially related to hardware, as the effect seems to be more pronounced in renders exported on weaker hardware, where the image becomes entirely black.

There appear to be improvements in 2025.2 Preview compared to 2025.1.1, but this has not been entirely eliminated.

Steps to Reproduce

Download client files from [Link Removed]

  1. Open .tm file in either Twinmotion 2025.1.1 or 2025.2
  2. Export any of the videos with precipitation enabled as a 360 video at any resolution
  3. Disable precipitation for the video and repeat export

Results: With precipitation enabled, there is a noticeable darkening effect during video playback of the exported 360 video that is not present in the video without precipitation.
