Description

[Link Removed]

Looks like a few issues when using FCPXML:

  • Export is using expanded shot frames
  • Import is off by one on the cut in frame
  • Would be nice to default to Sequence Data on the Data Source option
  • Minor: Filenames are hardcoded to avi. (would be nice to use mxf)
Steps to Reproduce
  1. Make a master sequence (3 shots is sufficient)
  2. Cut into one of the shots by at least 1 frame (it's fine to have gaps in the master sequence)
  3. Open MRQ, add xml export, set the format to Sequence Data, add avid dnx,
  4. Render
  5. Open Premiere, drag the master sequence xml into premiere. Everything should be hooked up - it should import the mxf files.

RESULT: The master sequence should look the same in Premiere as it did in UE4.

  1. Rearrange or cut into any of the shot
  2. Export XML
  3. Go back to UE4 and import that XML

RESULT: The shots should conform.
