Any modifications made to inherited components in a child blueprint revert to their parent's defaults when playing in packaged game and Launch on. User reported that he also saw it when launching in game mode (-game or right click>Launch Game), but I was unable to reproduce that behavior.
Example project: [Link Removed]
1. Open the example project linked in the description
2. PIE to preview the expected result
3. Exit PIE
4. Drop down from the Launch menu in the toolbar
5. Select your PC
Result: Child mesh has reverted to the parent's defaults instead of displaying the modified inherited component's properties.
