The node wires in this project's MyCharacter blueprint do not animate during PIE. This also occurs with the NPC and AI Blueprints the first time you PIE, but the second time they animat as expected. The user has reported various levels of this bug in the AnswerHub post, with some wires animating and others not, but the version that is attached just doesn't animate at all.
Also interesting: Despite having the PIE settings to Play in Viewport, it opens in a new window. I have no idea why.
Reproduced in 4.7.2 binary. Could not open the project in Main to test.
1. Download and open the user's project
2. Open the MyCharacter Blueprint
3. PIE
4. Select the MyCharacter instance in the Debug Filter
Result:
None of the node wires animate. Look at the Event Tick node to verify.
