Description

When applying a Material with nothing in it but PN Triangles turned on to a Large Landscape, the engine will crash.

Also Reproduced in Main Promotable-CL-2513846

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open QAGame Editor
  2. Create a New Material
  3. In the Material Editor, Change the D3D11 Tessellation Mode to PN Triangles.
  4. Compile and Save Material
  5. Create a Landscape with the following setup:
    • Section Size = 255x255 Quads
    • Sections Per Component = 2x2 Sections
    • Number of Components = 16 x 16
    • Overall Resolution = 8161 x 8161
  6. Click Fill World
  7. Click Create
  8. Once Landscape is created, apply the Tessellation Material as the Landscape Material

RESULTS: CRASH

EXPECTED: No Crash
