Description

This bug appears to be related to pass filtering.

To observe correct behavior. In Project Settings->Rendering->Optimizations, set “Early
Z-pass” to “Decide Automatically”, and disable “Mask material only in early Z-pass"

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download the attached repo project, open
  2. Observe the state of the two planes: the one with a red target does not have Cast
    Dynamic Shadow as Masked, and is behaving correctly. The one with a greenish
    target has Cast Dynamic Shadow as Masked enabled, and is invisible when it should
    not be.
