Description

When working with a Control Rig in Sequencer, compiling the Control Rig used by an actor will cause the rig to no longer drive movement for the actor's skeletal mesh.

Licensee provided sample project files demonstrating behavior in linked UDN case. Sample project files by licensee demonstrate this occurring on a vehicle. Repro confirmed to occur on standard mannequin assets. Repro is 100% with the steps above.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a new Blueprint Actor
  2. Add a Skeletal Mesh and Control Rig component to the actor, such as SKM_Manny and CR_Mannequin_Body
  3. Add the On Pre Initialize (Control Rig) event to the actor and Add Mapped Skeletal Mesh for these components, then compile the blueprint.
  4. Create a Level Sequencer and add the actor to the sequencer. Attempt to manipulate the control rig and it should work normally.
  5. Open the Control Rig and compile.
  6. Return to the Level Sequencer and attempt to manipulate the control rig. Rig will no longer drive the mesh.
  7. The blueprint actor to restore proper functionality.
