Description

When using Volumetric Translucent Shadows for static meshes the shadows will only work if the mesh is selected. When the mesh is deselected it will not render.

This worked in 4.8.3, but is broken in 4.9 p3 and p4. May have been broken with initial release of 4.9.

Image attached to demonstrate.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open UE4
2. Place a Static mesh in the scene
3. In its Details Panel enable "Volumetric Translucent Shadows"
4. Apply a basic translucent material to the static mesh
5. Select the Static Mesh
6. Un-select the static mesh
7. Hit PIE and notice the shadow doesn't show up in game either

Expected: The volumetric translucent shadow will show regardless of being selected, and will show up in game.

Results: The volumetric translucent shadow will only show if selected in the editor
