Static meshes do not snap to meshes created from bsp brushes, despite being turned into static meshes themselves. They instead snap to the next lowest mesh on the z axis.
1. Open Editor (any project)
2. Create a bsp brush in viewport
3. In Details pane for bsp brush, select "create static mesh">"create static mesh"
4. Place a different static mesh in viewport above the bsp created static mesh
5. Press End to snap the static mesh to the next mesh down.
Results:
Static mesh snaps through the bsp created mesh.
Expected:
Mesh snaps to the bsp created mesh.
