Multiple users are reporting crashes in the Engine when using an AMD R9 380 and 390 series cards.
There was a request to have these cards added to compat lab for testing, but have not heard any updates as to the status of these cards as of late.
A couple of notes from the users experiencing the issue:
"Worth noting. I tried uninstalling the 15.7.1 driver and re-installing the Aug 28th beta driver, to no avail. Though, I haven't yet had a crash with -DX12 mode enabled."
"After the video driver dies and restores itself, the client produces a popup window stating something to the effect of "the video driver has stopped responding, UE4 will now close." So technically speaking, UE4 is not really "crashing" so we don't get to leave a crash report."
Since these cards are newer there are only a couple of drivers available at the moment for users to try, but so far all of them experience this issue. I have attached a users dxdiag for further insight.
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED is a major part of the error message the users have noticed they are receiving.
