When a layered control rig track is added to the sequencer the character’s legs will collapse into the body of the character. Switching the layer to additive will do nothing. Trying to force the animation to work properly will only work till the editor is shut down. Reopening the editor and playing the sequence will result in having the problem reappear.
1. Download the attached test project project and open
2. Open level sequence “/Game/TestSequence/TestSequenceCtrlRig”
3. Play level sequence
4. Observe the characters legs folded up into the body
This happens to this file 100% of the time
These are the steps to temporarily resolve the issue however the bug will return after saving and restarting the editor.
1. Right click on the layered track and switch the blend type to additive
2. Right click on the track and add another track that is additive
3. Select the second track and scrub
4. After scrubbing back and forth the animation should pop into place
5. Delete the second track that you created
