Splash screen on iOS is stretched

The splash screen on the iPhone 6s is stretched when loading. Tested alongside the iPhone 5s and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for comparison. The stretching only occurs on the 6s.

iPhone 6s: 6240_iPhone6S (; 9.1.0)
iPhone 5s: 5065_iPhone5S (; 9.2.0)
Samsung Galaxy Note 2: 2894_GalaxyNote2_SCH-I605 (;ARM Mali-400 4.1.1)

1. Create a new blank project
2. Launch project onto iOS device

Result: The splash screen is stretched more than it should be on the 6s.
Expected: The splash screen should not be stretched.

Packaging for iOS fails with "Cannot create because a file with the same name already exists."
