Potential bug was encountered when exporting vray cameras and their targets that have been path-constraint to corresponding splines. The resulting export file shows no camera targets; hence, missing camera target actors and broken level sequence upon importing the .udatasmith into UE.
There is, however, a workaround that was used to bypass this issue. By creating and deleting a primitive (a plane, box, etc) before exporting, we were able to force Datasmith plugin to recognize both the camera and their target.
It'd be great if we can get confirmation why this happens and how to avoid it in the future. Thanks!
Steps to Reproduce
Prereq:
1. 3DS Max 2025.2
2. Latest Datasmith plugin
3. UE 5.4
4. Datasmith plugin enabled in UE

Steps to repro:
1. Open up the 3DS Max file
2. Export or Export Selected with the Datasmith plugin
3. Create a new .umap
4. Import Datasmith file from step 2 into the scene with Camera and Animation data
5. Opening up the imported level sequence
6. Confirm camera target actors missing from the sequencer
