Consider a Niagara Function or Module Script containing a Static Switch node. If the "Expose as Pin" option is enabled for its selector variable, the "Apply" button on the graph editor's toolbar will become enabled. However, while "Expose as Pin" is enabled, the "Apply" button never gets disabled, even after being clicked.

Regression (works in 5.1, repros in 5.2)
1. Create and edit a new Niagara Function Script or Niagara Module Script (Content Browser – FX – Script – Niagara Function/Module Script)
2. Add a "Static Switch" node
3. Compile, apply, save. Note that the "Apply" button gets disabled after being clicked
4. On the "Selected Details" tab for the Static Switch node, enable option "Expose as Pin"
5. The "Apply" button gets enabled. But from now on, it never gets disabled again, even after being clicked.
