Description

Setting Layer Partitioning or Region Chunk Splits to ChunkyMonotone causes hitching in movement and navigation. The player will get caught on level geometry and temporarily halt or jitter in movement while attempting to move around the obstacle instead of avoiding it as intended.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download, unzip, open project at link:

  1. Press PIE
  2. Press and release LMB over End_2
  3. Once player has moved to End_2, press and release LMB over Start
  4. Once player has moved to Start, press and release LMB over End_1

Results:

Eventually, the player's movement will start to hitch and the character will temporarily get caught on level geometry, causing the player to run into walls while attempting to move around them instead of avoiding the wall entirely.

Expected:

Player smoothly transitions consistently between the three points without getting caught on walls.
