Description

UPDATE This issue no longer reproduces on driver versions 580.88 and higher.

City Sample game crashes immediately upon opening with a NVIDIA 5080 with the latest drivers as well as some previous drivers on both the 5080 and a 2080 super. The 5080 crashed every time. Additionally, we tested it on another machine, and the crash reproduced.

Crash does not occur on Vulkan.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Acquire a NVIDIA 5080 as this issue only occurs on a 5080
  2. Get a City Sample package build from the root drive (see comments) or by packaging yourself
  3. Launch CitySample.exe

Expected Results:
Black screen with loading indicator will appear, after a moment the opening sequence diving down from the city skyline to the character will play.

Actual Results:
Can crash immediately, but a few times the black screen would fade revealing the city skyline with lots of artifacts/discoloration before crashing.
