Description

Get Location at Distance Along Spline returns inaccurate information. The distances between locations seems to change without pattern along the spline path between two spline points if the spline points are altered.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download, unzip, open attached project
  2. Open BugTester.umap
  3. Select BugTester blueprint
  4. Select second spline
  5. Using transform widget, move the spline point along the X axis (any direction).

Results:

Debug Spheres appear and change distance between each point at odd intervals that do not seem to follow any consistent pattern.

Expected:

debug spheres stay same distance apart despite changes to spline point location.

  1. Download the attached project (splineAccuracy.zip)
  2. Open the project
  3. Click on the first point in the spline (you will see a red dotted line leading to a handle that resizes the spline)
  4. Click and drag the square handle used to resize the spline
  5. Zoom in on the debug spheres

Results: The debug sphere will be in slightly different locations when the spline is stretched/shrank

Expected: The debug spheres would not appear to duplicate as they would appear in the exact same location everytime they are drawn
