Currently, I have been unable to reproduce this issue outside of the user's project that is provided in the repro steps.
Packaging a game that has the experimental feature Nativize Blueprint Assets enabled causes the overlap events to stop firing inside the packaged version. The overlaps work as expected during PIE.
Disabling Nativize Blueprint Assets and packaging again causes the overlaps to function as expected in the packaged game.
Could not test the project in main, as the packaging process failed, and we have not been able to nail down a solid repro in a clean project at this time.
1. Open the project: [Link Removed]
2. PIE (Notice the initial string that plays, wait 2-3 seconds, and notice the Fire string being printed, indicating that the overlap has occurred).
3. Package the project for Win64
4. Once it finishes, go ahead and open it and notice that the "Fire" string is no longer being printed, indicating that the overlap is not occurring in the packaged game.
