Users are unable to rename a variable using the right-click menu within Blueprints, and the sources panel within the Content Browser.
Regression?
Yes. I tested the functionality of the right-click rename menu in binary 4.10.4 and I was able to rename the variable successfully as expected.
1. Open new or existing blueprint on a Mac.
2. Right-click on a new or existing variable.
3. Select the Re-name option.
Outcome The variable flickers from editable text to non-editable text within a second.
Expected You are able to begin typing to rename the variable after selecting rename option.
Tested and reproduce 3/3 times
