Marked as duplicate of UE-27407, which is not eligible for public jira. However it was marked as fixed and verified in 4.12
Notifies near the start of an animation do not trigger when played through slots with either the PlaySlotAnimationAsDynamicMontage or with a Montage. There could be other instances of this, but these are what I found.
I tried adjusting the Trigger Weight Threshold, but with no effect
This is a regression from 4.10 and the attached project will open in 4.10 if you'd like to test it.
1. Open the attached project in 4.11
2. PIE
3. Hit the "F" key (Note that a particle FX fires during the walk anim)
4. Open the ThirdPersonWalk_Notify Anim Sequence
5. Adjust the notify from frame 0.56 to 0.54 or earlier
6. PIE
7. Hit "F"
Result: FX notify doesn't fire
Expected: Notify fires
