Cannot Rename Folders in Content Browser Explorer Panel in OSX

On Macs running Yosemite or El Capitan, you cannot rename a folder in the Content Browser Explorer window, but you can rename them in the Contents Viewer to the right (I'm not sure of the correct terminology for these two panels, see attached image for clarification.)

Regression: This does not occur in UE 4.10
*This does not occur in Windows

1. Open any project in UE4.11.2
2. In the Content Browser, right-click and select "New Folder"
3. When the new folder appears in the Content Browser Explorer Window, try and rename
   RESULT: Unable to rename folder in the folder hierarchy, while you can change the folder name in the content viewer panel directly to the right
   EXPECTED: The user should be able to rename the folder in both places on the MacOS as they can in Windows.

Mac Editor: Can't rename folders in Content Browser
