It appears two shadows are created when building static lighting for Landscapes. One seems to be offset while the other is accurate to the angle of the light source.
I tested this in 4.9.2, 4.10.4, 4.11.2, and 4.12 Preview 5 and the issue appears in each engine version tested.
1. Create new blank project w/o starter content.
2. Delete everything from the default loaded level except for the floor and the directional light.
3. Create new landscape with 7x7 Quads and 1x1 for Number of Components. (Use image for reference).
4. Place the landscape over the Floor mesh and build lighting.
Outcome It appears two shadows are created as if one is offset and the other is correct.
Expected A single shadow is baked into the scene.
