Description

I first experienced this on my Linux machine using a P4 build. I checked it against Windows in DX11 and did not experience the issue.

Afterwards, I followed the above repro steps and saw it was occurring in OpenGL3 on Windows. I checked OpenGL4 after that, and was NOT able to repro the issue using OpenGL4.

Steps to Reproduce

Repro:

  1. Download ContentExamples from the Launcher and create the project
  2. Open UE4Editor from the Launcher
  3. Open the ContentExamples project in Unreal Project Browser
  4. In UE4Editor, select File > Open Level... > Maps > Effects
  5. After the map opens, select the dropdown menu next to the Play button in the toolbar
  6. In the Play submenu select Advance Settings
  7. In the Play in Standalone Game section, in the Additional Launch Parameters field add: -game -OpenGL3
  8. Close the Preferences window then PIE - Standalone Game
  9. Navigate to station 1.5 in the Effects map

Result:
The particles from the emitter are almost invisible.

Expected:
The particles are clearly visible and render like the due in OpenGL4 and DX11.

Frequency:
100%
