Shadow quality from a movable directional light has lower resolution quality than the previous release of the engine. This is a regression in quality from 4.12.5 to 4.13.
Tested with:
Good Quality: 4.12.5 Binary CL-3039270
Lower Quality: 4.13.1 Binary CL-3142249
Lower Quality: 4.14 Dev-Framework CL-3157987
Tested on the Android Device between 4.12.5 and 4.14 with the same results:
1. Open UE4
2. Setup a scene with shadow casting from a movable directional light (Attached images use a CSM distance of 10000)
3. Switch the Preview Rendering Level to Mobile/HTML 5
Regression: Yes
Results: Shadow resolution for CSM Directional light is lower quality than previous releases.
Expected: Shadow quality should remain consistent between releases.
