A licensee is noticing that a heavy use of the Collections system to categorize assets is causing a lot of unnecessary source control operations and generating a lot of noise for their logs. Rather than submitting a changed Collection file immediately, we should batch the changes together and submit them all at once rather than individually.
1. Open the editor for any game and connect to source control
2. Add a lot of assets one-by-one to any Collection, and then remove them.
3. Observe as modifying a collection checks out, changes, and then submits the modified Collection file to source control
Expected result: Modifications to Collections files should be batched and submitted to Source control as minimally as possible.
