Re-importing a static mesh results in all currently applied sockets being removed from the static mesh in the Editor.
Workaround: Setting the sockets up in the Native 3D editing software following the naming convention: SOCKET_[name] will allow the user to make changes and reimport sockets multiple times.
Regression: Yes, works in UE4.13 but not UE4.14 on
