Description

Selecting an Actor with a camera attached to it, be it a player pawn, static mesh, or other actor, causes the camera view to render a black square in the right eye of the HMD

Steps to Reproduce

The following repro provided for a blank slate setup. This can alternatively be repro'd by creating a Third Person Template, entering VR Mode, and Selecting the ThirdPerson Character Actor

  1. Open any project in Editor
  2. Add a Static Mesh to the scene
  3. Add a Camera to the Scene
  4. Attach the Camera to the Static Mesh Actor
  5. Enter VR Mode
  6. Select the Actor

Expected Result: Actor should be selected. Display should not change

Outcome: Black box for the camera view renders in the right eye of HMD
