Description

-Could not reproduce and only happens in the project linked below
-Tested in 4.16 and Preview 4.18 and this can not be heard
-Does not look like the .ini file is the cause of the issue
-Other sounds have been used to test this(being from a free sound site and one being the free audio you can obtain from Adobe)
-The sound can also be heard when played in editor
-Have tried various combinations of turning off Virtualize when silent and changing the volume as mentioned as well as removing and replacing the .ini file
-Checked plugins
-Licensee references the link found below:

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a new project in 4.17
  2. Go into the Config folder < Create a Windows folder < Create an .ini file < paste the following script in: [Audio]
    AudioDeviceModuleName=AudioMixerXAudio2
-This script was not generated but created and implemented by the user
  3. Import audio wav file into your content browser
  4. Create a new sound class
  5. In the Sound Class set the volume to zero
  6. Go into the wav file and set the Sound Class to be the one you created
  7. Still in the this Sound Class under the Sound section set Virtualize when Silent to have the box checked
  8. Play the sound wav
  9. Blueprints in this project are set to play the sound when PIE. The Blueprints consist of:(Event BeginPlay, Delay (that is set to 2), and Play Sound 2D) These Blueprints are in the Level Blueprint

Result: Audio wav file makes a pop/crack sound a singular time towards the end when played and no other audio can be heard

Expected: Audio should not be making any sort of sound
