Description

When the Metal Desktop-Forward Renderer option is enabled for a project using the ARKit, the camera input does not appear to be displayed as the background for the app. The background remains black, even though objects can be spawned into the app.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open the ARSample project.
  2. Open the Project Settings.
  3. Locate the Platforms -> iOS -> Rendering -> Metal Desktop-Forward Renderer option and enable it.
  4. Launch the project onto an iOS device (initially tested on an iPad Pro).

RESULT:
When the app launches on the device, a prompt appears asking for permission to use the device's camera, and when permission is given the screen does not display what the camera is seeing. The background remains black, and objects can be spawned into the app.

EXPECTED:
When the app launches, a prompt appears asking for permission to use the device's camera. When permission is given, the input from the camera is displayed as the background for the app and objects can be spawned into the app.
