iOS apps crash on devices with iOS version 11.2.2 when Metal 2.0 is enabled

Launching an iOS App that is set to Metal 2.0 on a device with iOS version 11.2.2 causes the app to crash and return to the home screen. This was tested on an iPad Pro as I do not have access to any other iOS devices capable of iOS 11. This does not happen on iOS 11.1.1.

This does not occur in 4.18.3

1. Create a new project
2. Change Max. Metal Shader Standard Target to Metal v2.0 (Project Settings > Platforms > iOS > Rendering)
3. Change Minimum iOS version to 11.0
4. Package the project for iOS
5. Install the IPA on an iOS device with iOS version 11.2.2 (Tested on iPad Pro)
6. Launch the app
   Result: The app crashes and returns to the home screen
   Expected: The app launches successfully
