7/9 Update: This isn't expected to work; Android media does not work like this. You have to set the native volume on the player since it doesn't go through the mixer.
Media Sound Component, Sound Class Volume not applied on Android.
Tested with Galaxy S5

Sample project attached
1. Create a media player and attach media sound to plane https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/Engine/MediaFramework/HowTo/FileMediaSource
2. Select MediaSound Component
3. Create and assign a new Sound Class
4. Set Volume to 0
5. Launch on android
Result: Volume is set(muted) on PC, but not on android.
