When using the "Convert to Class Blueprint" feature in the level editor to create a blueprint from the selected actors, the created blueprint has a moveable root and static components. As a result, the meshes seem to disappear immediately after conversion.
To fix, convert the root to be static or each of the mesh components to be movable.
1. Drag a few static meshes into a map
2. Select the added static mesh actors in the level
3. Click "Convert to Class Blueprint" at the bottom of the details panel
4. After creation, all of the meshes will disappear (because of the invalid mobility of the created components)
