Description

After trimming an animation that includes a rotation in the begining the translation for the root motion appears to be applied as though the rotation had still been applied.

I have included the original fbx file. To reproduce this issue from scratch:

  1. import that attached asset
  2. Select the SK_Mannequin as the skeletal mesh
  3. Import all
  4. Open animation
  5. Enable root motion
  6. Enable Process root motion
  7. Right click the time line
  8. Remove frames 0-40
Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download the attached project
  2. Open the project
  3. Open "m_std_crouch_to_crouchbw_01"
  4. Enable "Process Root Motion" (Character > Animation > Process Root Motion)

Result: The animation appears to slide sideways as though the original rotation is still being applied after the animation has been trimmed
Expected: The animation would appear to be walking backwards
