Description

The order in which Additive Anim Type is set to Mesh Space and Force Root Lock is enabled/disabled changes the end result. This seems to be related to the animation compression and DDC.

Steps to Reproduce

Open an animation sequence.

Enable Force Root Lock

Set the Additive Anim Type to Mesh Space

(If the compression scheme was Remove Linear Keys with re-targeting enabled the animation could disappear here)

Disable Force Root Lock

Observe how the animation has disappeared (leaving cloth if any).

 

Change the sequence back to how it was when opened.

Set the Additive Anim Type to Mesh Space

Enable Force Root Lock

Disable Force Root Lock

Observe that the animation did not disappear.
