Reading through all the information that is given (really useful for a change!), it looks as if he has successfully followed the instructions to get his keychain set up correctly, but still cannot connect via the editor.
Only thing I can think of is that he has stated that his studio use 1.8.10 for their source control solution, but we supply 1.8.9. Possibly there is some issue here with the keychain being set up against the wrong SVN binary?
