Editor Drop Down Menus become out of place when moving across a small screen to a larger display

In a Mac environment with where a MacBook Pro 15" retina display is used in combination with a larger 25" display "traditional resolution" the menus will drop down as expected on where the editor is opened on a 15" screen. However, when the editor is dragged across to the 25" display, the drop down menus appear to be centered on screen. *See attached file.

We have successfully reproduced the issue in house 3/3/2015:

Open the editor on a MacBook Pro(retina 15")
Move across to second/larger 25" monitor
Select Drop down menus in the 25" screen
Menus appear in center of screen
Expected: drop-down menus from buttons at top of screen
Result: menus appear in the center of the screen and the mouse is offset from the menu making it very difficult to navigate.
