Description

Light Functions are stretching and flickering on large translucent surfaces.

Translucents Surface:

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a New Blank Project with No Starter Content
  2. Import the Attached T_LightFunction.tga file
  3. Create a Light Function Material with T_LightFunction assigned to Emissive Color
  4. Create a New Surface Translucent Material with the following specifications:
    -Base Color = 0.25,0.25,0.25
    -Metallic = 0
    -Roughness = 1
    -Opacity = 1
  5. In the Level Viewport, Select the Default Template Floor and set the scale to (50,50,1) OR Add a Landscape to Fill World
  6. Assign the Surface Translucent Material to the Template Floor (or Landscape)
  7. Assign the Light Function to the Directional Light
  8. Set the Light Function Scale to 8192,8192,8192

RESULTS: Stretching and flickering occurs outside what could be the Translucent Lighting Volume Dimensions

EXPECTED: No Stretching and Flickering
